Stickies skins
#Stickies skins full
It's more effective, lighter, very fancy and of course is a full version.įinally, Stickies has caused absolutely no conflicts or bugs in my system after many months of use. I moved to it from 3M's sticky notes (Lite version). I use it in Windows XP but it supports earlier versions of Windows as well.
#Stickies skins software
I think its much better than some commercial software such as Microsoft's or 3M's.
There are translations for many languages also. It even has networking capabilities, although that part is a bit complicated to configure. It's very light in system resources, has a notes backup and show or hide notes options. Stickies is a very small download at less than 1 MB and no additional downloads are needed.
#Stickies skins archive
It has a skin editor and a big archive of user-made skins. Stickies is free, and has many users worldwide. He recently wrote that he likes this sticky notes tool above all others. Giorgos lives in Greece and often translates program documentation from English to Greek. I have received a number of good tips from Giorgos over the last weeks. Stickies - post your notes on the desktop Once created, they will stay on screen until you take them away. They are instead yellow rectangular windows onto which you can put some text notes. Stickies will never support animated dancing figures, or play "Greensleeves". Stickies stores information in a single text-based ini file. Stickies will not mess with your system files, or write to the registry. If this is to slow for you, and you only ever use 1 computer anyway, do this, if you extracted your skin into your C:/, and called it "Test", then put this into your skin bar, in options. The design goal behind Stickies is that the program is small and simple. Uploading this to the net will be a very slow process, patience is important, you need something that you can use to access all the files from, I use, but feel free you find your own, you will need to make all of the folders too, so you can make a folder in your web folder, called gebause, put everything in there.
Final step! Uploading to net, and using it.
I would use this website for finding hex colours.ġ2. This is bassically a colour, #000000 for example is black, #ffffff is white. If you don't understand #000000, then let me explain. Any other things that you don't understand what it means Go back one last time, and open up the file called "Formate.css" I prefer to use Notepad to view this, but use what you want, in here are all of the colours, you can mostly work out what they all are, but if you mess around with this, you'll work it out after a while. Go back again and open up "planeten", these are all of the planets, there are also the smaller planet pictures (For the scroll down bar bit). Go back again, open up "Pic", this is all the buttons inside your alliance. Now open up the file that says "Img", in here contains all of the files like the message buttons, background, forground, moons, and some other things that I have no idea what they do. Go back again, and open up "Images", this contains all of the metal, crystal, and enery pictures. Go back in your browser, now open up the file that says "GFX", these are all of the pictures that are on your menu tab (Overview, Buildings, Options.). Go into the file and open the sub-folder "Gebaude" This is german for "Buildings", in here you will find every research picture, every ship, defence, and building. Choose any skin (Or the one you want to edit from)ĥ. Where you coose skins, click "Download Skins"ģ.
